When Good Things Happen to Students
"Time is the quality of nature that keeps events from happening all at once. Lately it doesn't seem to be working." -- Anonymous
I love hearing that students are doing great things. I seem to hear the most in way of success stories from my web students:
Al Rendon works for the Maricopa Skill Center. He's about to start taking over the website for the Skill Center because of what he learned while attending my class in the spring of this year.
Andi Washburn is now working at GoDaddy. She got the position in spring of '06 while taking my web class. They said she was more than qualified with her knowledge of the web to work for them.
Savin and Lisa attended my beginning web class in fall of 2005. They recently left a comment on this blog to show me their cool sites:

I totally love, love, love hearing that people really get it and really use the information and grow way beyond my initial class. They are the ones who make it happen for them and I am honored at the very least to be the one that gets to help them take their first steps in the web.
